Benson, Minnesota-Brenda Jean Kurkosky-Ingebretson, 45, died on Sunday morning, October 14, at the St. Cloud Hospital. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, and will continue on Saturday, October 20 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm, at the St. Francis Catholic Church in Benson. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday October 20, at the St. Francis Catholic Church in Benson. Interment will be in the St. Francis Catholic Cemetery in Benson. Zniewski Funeral Home of Benson is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Brenda Jean Kurkosky-Ingrebretson was born on July 14, 1973, in Appleton, Minnesota, the daughter of Gerald and Linda Wrobleski Kurkosky. On July 29 1973, she was baptized at St. Francis Catholic Church in Benson. On April 26, 1981, she received her first communion and on May 11, 1990, she was confirmed by the Bishop Raymond Lucker at St. Francis Catholic Church. She graduated from Benson Senior High School in 1991.
Brenda worked as a certified nursing assistant at West Wind Village in Morris, Minnesota. She thoroughly enjoyed caring for the elderly. In March of 2018, Brenda was united in marriage to Neil Ingebretson in Las Vegas. She enjoyed cooking, cleaning, lying in the sun, and being in the pool. She loved spending time with her family and friends. She was called from this life on Sunday morning, October 14, 2018, surrounded by her family at the St. Cloud Hospital. She attained the age of 45 years and 3 months.
Brenda is survived by her husband Neil Ingebretson of Benson; her two daughters Brooke Molden and Kaysha Molden and their father Korey Molden; her parents Gerald and Linda Kurkosky of Benson; three brothers George (Karla) Kurkosky of Benson, Jerry Kurkosky of DeGraff, and Mike (Stacy) Kurkosky of Benson, six nieces and four nephews, and several other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Robert and Maryann Wrobleski, Joseph and Pricilla Kurkosky; an uncle, Gary Kurkosky; an aunt, Judy Ellingson; and a grandson Braxton Molden. Blessed be her memory.
