Elaine Clair Schultz was born on September 11, 1934, in Danvers, Minnesota, the daughter of Henry and Margaret Peerboom. She was baptized and confirmed at Church of the Visitation Catholic Church in Danvers, Minnesota. She grew up in Danvers and graduated from Holloway High School. She lived in Benson and worked at Jennie O Foods in Willmar, Meadow Lane Care Center, Milan bar, and the Clontarf Pub. Elaine enjoyed canning, flowers, baking, family picnics, and taking care of her goats. She loved spending time with Anna and her family.
Elaine was called from this life on Wednesday evening, November 8, surrounded by family. She attained the age of 83 years, 1 month, and 28 days. She is survived by her sisters, Anna Geyer of Benson and Rose Bannister of Starbuck; a brother, James Peerboom of Rochelle, Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Margaret Peerboom; her husband, Marvin on February 12, 1991; two brothers, Bill Peerboom and John Peerboom; and three sisters, Margaret Ann Rudnick, Gladys Hoberg, and Marie Muehlbauer.
