Dale Eugene Blum

Dale Eugene Blum was born November 17, 1925, in Correll, Minnesota.  He was the son of Roy H. and Cora (Falk) Blum.  He was baptized December 15, 1925, and confirmed June 5, 1938, at Grace Lutheran Church in Correll.  He grew up in Correll, graduated from High School, and worked on the Blum Family Farm.  Dale served in the United States Army during the Korean War.  After serving his country, he returned to farming.  On June 18, 1960, Dale was united in marriage to Audrey Lue Christopherson.  This union was blessed with more than 43 years of marriage, 2 children, and 7 grandchildren.  Audrey passed away September of 2003.  Dale loved farming and raising cattle and was a member of the Shorthorn Association.  In December of 2009, Dale was united in marriage to Inez Blum in Pierce, Nebraska.  This union was blessed with more than 7 wonderful years together.

Dale passed away March 12, 2017 in Norfolk, Nebraska.  He attained 91 years, 3 months, and 25 days of age. Dale is survived by his wife, Inez of Pierce, NE; children, Rodney (Tasleema) Blum of Maple Grove, MN, and Cecilie (Scott) Fields of Andover, MN; seven grandchildren: Sydney, Shelbi, Omar, Altaaf, Halle, Akbar, and Raihanna; and brother, Neal Blum of Chicago, IL.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey Blum; and parents, Cora and Roy Blum.  Blessed be his memory.
