Gary L Martinson

Gary Lynn Martinson was born February 20, 1952 in Benson, Minnesota to Carl and Eva (Kelly) Martinson. He was baptized on April 20, 1952 at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church and confirmed on October 29, 1967 at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church. He attended Northside Elementary and Benson High School in Benson, Minnesota.

Gary was married to Donna Pfeffer on May 4, 1974. To this union, one daughter was born.

Gary had lived in Houston, Texas and worked on the oil rigs for many years before coming back to Minnesota to be close to his brothers and sisters. He was called from this life on Wednesday, January 13th, at the Redwood Falls Hospital.

Among the things Gary enjoyed was watching movies and visiting with family and friends.

Gary was survived by his brothers and sisters, Carol (Roger) Elliott, Circle Pines, MN, Curt (Laura) Martinson, Apple Valley, MN, Steve Martinson, Las Vegas, NV, Nanc (Craig) Peterson, Hancock, MN, Amelia Johnson, Willmar, MN, Kevin (Ginger) Martinson, Big Lake, MN, Kaye (Ron) Park, Las Vegas, NV, Karen Martinson, Las Vegas, NV, and David (Julie) Martinson, Cottage Grove, MN, and many nephews and nieces.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Eva Martinson, daughter, Heather Martinson, brother, Delvin Martinson, and sister, Gloria Ebnet.
