Roger “Rocky” Jordan Walker was born February 12, 1951 in San Bernardino, California, the son of Earl and Virginia (Weimer) Walker. He was raised in southern California and attended school in Orange California. As an adult, he moved to Nederland, Colorado, where he worked as a truck driver for several years. At this time he married Laurie Bierman Garcia. This union was blessed with a daughter, Amber, in December, 1976. They moved to California and later were divorced.
In 1985 Roger met the love of his life, Susie. They were married in 1986 and enjoyed 29 years of marriage. In 2003 Roger and Susie moved to Appleton to be near Susie’s family. He loved fishing, especially trips to Mille Lacs Lake and Lake Minnewaska, where they would take vacations.
Rocky passed away January 1, 2016 in the St. Cloud Hospital. He attained 64 years, 10 months, and 17 days of age. He is survived by his wife, Susie, of Appleton; daughter, Amber (Walter) McClain of West Hills, CA; step-grandson, Cole McClain; 7 sisters-in-law; 6 brothers-in-law; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Rocky was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Virginia Walker; brother, Phil Walker, brother-in-law, Vic Hentges; nephews: Michael and Chad Redfield.
