Jerome Orville Fliflet

Jerome Orville Fliflet was born December 1, 1935, in Appleton, Minnesota, the son of Carl and Edith (Vreeman) Fliflet. He was baptized and confirmed at First Congregational Church in Appleton. Jerome was raised in the Appleton area and graduated from Appleton High School in 1955. After high school, he attended Dunwoody Institute for automotive mechanics. He loved working on cars and made it his life’s work. Outside of work, Jerome enjoyed riding horse, doing puzzles, and watching western movies. He was a member of the Trail Blazers Horse Riding Club.

Jerome died November 18, 2015 in Appleton Area Health Services –Care Center. He attained 79 years, 11 months, and 17 days of age. He is survived by his brother, Richard (Luella) Fliflet of Richfield; niece-in-law, Karen Fliflet of Appleton; other relatives and friends. Jerome was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Edith Fliflet; siblings: Al (Betty) Fliflet, Maxine (Orville) Fliflet, William Sr. (Myrtle) Fliflet, Nellie (Reuben) Muller; step-siblings: Sidney and Annette Wyman.
