Anthony "Tony" L. Schnitzler was born on May 01, 1929, in Marysland Township, Swift County, Minnesota, the son of Henry Jr. and Lillian Goulet Schnitzler. He grew up in Marysland Township and attended country school District #60 and graduated from Holloway High School. Upon graduation, Tony began his career as a very successful farmer and corn seed dealer. On September 19, 1953, Tony was united in marriage to JoAnn Alida Rohloff in St. John's Parsonage in Appleton. This union was blessed with 9 children. Together Tony and JoAnn were able to share in 62 years of marriage. They lived in the Danvers/Holloway area. He was a fourth degree Knights of Columbus member, NFO member, and served on the Parish Council at the Church of the Visitation in Danvers. He enjoyed his career as a farmer, fishing, going to the cabin, taking care of his yard and garden, and spending time with his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was called from this life on Friday September 18, 2015, at the Rice Memorial Hospital in Willmar. He attained 86 years, 4 months, and 18 days of age. Tony is survived by his wife JoAnn; his children: Bradley (Bobby Andress) Schnitzler of Maple Grove, Michael Schnitzler of Holloway, Janet Klang (Michael Cannon) of Benson, Lori (Conrad) Beaulieu of Duluth, Richard (Michelle) Schnitzler of Dassel, Nancy (John) Staton of Greentown, Pennsylvania, Susann (Scott) Paulson of Becker, and Karen (Bryan) Staton of Benson; 31 grandchildren: Amy Dupay, Aaron, Alan Schnitzler; Sheila Hessburg, Joshua, Abby, Kendra Klang; Anna, David, Nathan, Earnest, Stephen, Deborah Pringle, Jonathan, Jean-Francois, Joy, Zechariah Beaulieu; Cole, Evan, Austin Schnitzler; Karen Garcia, Matthew, Ashely Billups, Tiffany Seaman, Dustin, Brooke Staton; Danielle, Brittney, Courtney Paulson; Zack, and Ali Staton; 15 great-grandchildren; siblings: Irene Cooper, Charlie (Gloria) Schnitzler, Virginia "Ginny" (Delmer) Zimmerman, Mae Sukohl, Clara (Rosie) McCall, LeRoy Schnitzler, and Bernice Olson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Jr. and Lillian; son, Larry; and his sisters, Gertrude Hoffman and Marie Erickson.
