Corrine Helen Hallaway was born April 28, 1952, in Montevideo, Minnesota, the daughter of Elmer and Helen (Fredrick) Olson. She was baptized and confirmed at Kviteseid Lutheran Church in Milan. Corrine was raised in the Milan area and graduated from Milan High School in 1970. After graduation, Corrine worked at Finger Hut in Benson and then Carlson Doll Factory near Watson for many years. Corrine was united in marriage to Donald Hallaway in Milbank, South Dakota. This union was blessed with over 19 years of marriage. She was a Twenty-year employee of Appleton Area Health Services. Corrine loved her job and most of all the people that she worked with. She enjoyed playing bingo, going to garage sales, collecting apple-related items and spending time with her pet cat, Blanche. Corrine died on September 1, 2015. She attained 63 years, 4 months, and 3 days of age. Corrine is survived by her husband, Donald Hallaway of Appleton; brother, Clifford "Kip" (Bonnie) Olson of Cottage Grove; sisters-in-law: Ginny, Judy, and Lorraine Olson, Judy Hallaway, and Jeanette (Neil) Witte; brother-in-law, Dale (Cathy) Hallaway; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Helen Olson; sister, Jayne Johnson; brothers: Don, Dean, and Dennis Olson; sister-in-law, Karen Schlieman; and brother-in-law, Gary Hallaway.
