Arthur "Art" Lyle Lee, age 81, of Sartell, formerly of Benson, died Saturday, January 17, 2015. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, January 22, 2015, at St. Malachy Catholic Church in Clontarf. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the St. Malachy Catholic Cemetery. Memorials are preferred. Arthur Lyle Lee was born June 25, 1933, in Six Mile Grove Township, Minnesota, the son of Arthur Melvin and Gladys M. (Larson) Lee. He was baptized and confirmed at the Six Mile Grove Lutheran Church by Rev. Gunsten. He grew up in the Benson area and graduated from Benson High School. On August 30, 1952, Art was united in marriage to Victoria Reynolds at the St. Malachy's Catholic Church in Clontarf. This union was blessed with more than 62 years of marriage. Art farmed in the Benson area until moving to Brooklyn Center in 1955 where he worked at Coast-to-Coast and Burlington Northern Railroad for 37 years. After retirement, they moved back to Benson, spending winters in Texas. Art was a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed reading, volunteer work, hunting, and fishing. Art Lee is survived by his wife, Victoria Lee; children: Debra Halloran of Burnsville, Gregory (Patty) Lee of Benson, Randy (Katie) Lee of Brainerd, Terri Lee of St. Anthony, James Lee of St. Louis Park, Daniel Lee of Minneapolis, Torri Leyse of Maple Grove, Patrick (Dez) Lee of Two Harbors, and Paula (John) McCusker of Hugo; 10 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Gladys Lee; and sister, Shirley Quien.
