Charlene Kaye Lundeen was born in Appleton on December 13, 1947, to parents Arthur John and Mildred Johanna Rose (Reuss) Wentler. She was baptized January 1, 1948, and was confirmed on May 14, 1961, both at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Holloway. She attended school in Appleton and graduated with the Class of 1965. On August 26, 1978, she was married to Michael Lundeen at Faith Lilac Way Lutheran Church in Robbinsdale. Charlene and Michael welcomed a daughter, Sara, in 1981. They later divorced. Charlene worked as a secretary for State Farm Insurance until retiring in 2003. Charlene loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was very loving and caring. Charlene died on Wednesday, May 7, at Saint Therese of New Hope. She had attained the age of 66 years, 4 months, and 24 days. She is survived by her daughter Sara (Lanh) Huynh of Maple Grove; four grandchildren: Bryan, Brittany, Brady, and Breanna Huynh; three sisters: Betty (Harlan) Busse of Appleton, Iris Wentler of Montevideo, and Myra (Myron) Behm of Atwater; two brothers: Lanny (Dianne) Wentler of Monticello, and Arvid "AJ" Wentler of Morris; several nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Charlene is preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Jerome Wentler; and four sisters: Vivilor Munsterman, Myrtle Bjorgan, Elvera Gilsrud, and Florine Homrighausen.
