Lois J. Rajewsky

Lois Jean (Childs) Rajewsky was born August 19, 1937 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Foy Billings and Elizabeth Alice (Fitch) Childs. She was baptized September 29, 1940 by Rev. Albert Husted at the First Presbyterian Church and confirmed March 26, 1961 by Pastor Eifert at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Blue Earth, Minnesota. She grew up in Blue Earth, graduating from Blue Earth High School and completing one year of nursing training. On January 20, 1958, Lois Jean "Jeannie" was united in marriage to Herbert Harold Rajewsky, Jr. at the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Blue Earth by Pastor Eifert. This marriage was blessed with more than 56 years of marriage, seven children, twelve grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Jeannie lived in Seattle, Washington; Blue Earth, Minnesota; and later Sunburg and Benson. She and her husband, Herb, raised their seven children on a farm outside of Sunburg. She was a wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Jeannie enjoyed bonfires, camping, baking, crossword puzzles, spending time with her kids, grandkids, watching, the Timberwolves and Minnesota Twins, country music, and going to coffee and breakfast. Jeannie died on March 8, 2014 at her home. She had attained 76 years, 6 months, and 19 days of age. She is survived by her husband, Herbert Harold Rajewsky, Jr.; children: Todd Rajewsky of Benson, Tim (Vicky) Rajewsky of Delano, Peggy Wold of Benson, Scott (Yvette) Rajewsky of Sunburg, Daniel (Yvonne) Rajewsky of Benson, Karen Lynch of Maple Lake, and Joel (Lorene) Rajewsky of Ellinwood, KS; grandchildren: Joshua Rajewsky, Jessica Rajewsky, Michael Rajewsky, Megan Rajewsky, Emily Rajewsky, Ashley Anderson, Sara Rajewsky, Allison Serfas, Amy Lynch, Kelsey Rajewsky, Courtney Rajewsky, and Ian Rajewsky; great-grandchild, Natalie Serfas; sister, Bonnie (Hiram) Cox of Corpus Christie, TX; and brother, Ronnie Childs of Blue Earth. She was preceded in death by her parents, Foy and Elizabeth Childs, and grandparents, Don and Alice Fitch.
