Evangeline Lucille (Dow) Hendrickson was born September 9, 1921 in Edison Township, Swift County, Minnesota. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Edison Township. Evangeline attended Appleton High School and graduated in 1941. On December 13, 1945 she was united in marriage to George M. Hendrickson. Needle working, bird watching, feeding the squirrels in her back yard, and tending to her flower garden were among the favorite past times for Evangeline. She was a homemaker and found great pleasure in baking. Spending time with her niece and nephews also brought great enjoyment to Evangeline. Evangeline was called home to the Lord on March 7, 2014 at Appleton Area Health Services. She attained 92 years, 5 months, and 28 days of age. She is survived by her sister, Ruth (Dr. Larry) Weiss of Marshalltown, Iowa; niece, Dr. Leslie (Scott) Jones; nephews: Nathan Weiss (Marlene Harrington) and Aaron (Olga) Weiss; great-niece, Julia Taborskyia; great-nephew, Matthew Weiss. She is preceded in death by her husband, George on March 25, 1965; her parents, John L. and Marjorie (Konieczny) Dow; infant sister, Mary Alice Dow in 1939. Blessed be the memory of Evangeline L. Hendrickson.
