Dennis Dwayne Bartz was born in Appleton on July 25, 1944, the son of Wilbert and Helen (Wilson) Bartz. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Faith. Dennis was raised in the Appleton area and graduated from Appleton High School. Dennis loved agriculture and spent his career working in the industry as a Federal Crop Adjuster with the USDA. He found great enjoyment in being outdoors; especially when farming, hunting, fishing or working in his garden. Dennis died on Sunday, October 13, at St. Cloud Hospital. He had attained 69 years, 2 months, and 19 days of age. He is survived by his children: Darrell (Vickie) Bartz of Montevideo and Denise (Greg) Pedersen of Brainerd; daughter-in-law, Julie (Bill) Cenci of Savage; six grandchildren: Tanya and Jacob Pedersen, Vanessa, Whitney, Olivia, and Derrek Bartz; brother, Donovan (Sue) Bartz of Alexandria; and nephews, nieces, and other relatives and friends. Dennis is preceded in death by his parents, Wilbert and Helen (Wilson) Bartz and a son, Damon in 2008. Blessed be the memory of Dennis D. Bartz.
