Judith Ann Kulseth was born March 19, 1955, at Appleton to parents Theodore Edward and Thelma Caroline (Gulseth) Kulseth. She was baptized on April 24, 1955 and confirmed on June 7, 1970 both at Zion Lutheran Church. Judy graduated from Appleton High School in 1973. She worked as a nurse's aid at the Appleton Municipal Hospital for over 35 years until failing health caused her retirement. She loved playing cards, entertaining family and friends, and just loved being with family and friends. Judy had a great personality and was a very kind, generous, giving, and caring person. She had a great sense of humor, loved having fun, and had great sense of courage facing her everyday illness. Judy was a great sister, a special aunt, and a true friend. She had a very patient personality which made her very special to her family and the staff and patients she dealt with. During her life Judy was involved with Toys For Tots, Women of Today, and the Red Cross Bloodmobile. Judy died on Monday, September 30, at Appleton Area Health Services. She had attained 58 years, 6 months, and 11 days of age. She is survived by four siblings: David (Donna) Kulseth of Red Wing, Marlowe (Barb) Kulseth of Tucson, AZ, Carol (Roger) Jenson) of Maple Grove, and Robert (Nancy) Kulseth of Spicer; nine nieces and nephews: Mike (Abby) Kulseth, Denise (Donnie) Watson, Scott (Karlana) Kulseth, Jennifer (Robert) Krebs, Kristen (Cesar)Ruiz Jimenez, Todd (Melissa) Jenson, Matt (Melissa) Jenson, Becky (Jesse) Knudsen, and Sarah Kulseth; 15 great-nieces and nephews: Johnathan Kulseth, Matt Watson, Leilani Jester, Michael Kulseth, Christian and Jordan Wong, Kylie and Talen Krebs, Anne, Summer, MacKenzie and Aiden Ruiz Jimenez, Ethan and Emma Knudsen, and Khloe Jenson; aunt, Virginia Anderson, of Maplewood; cousins; and several special friends. Judy is preceded in death by her parents.
