Michael Edward Quigley

September 29, 1933 — May 7, 2013

Michael Edward Quigley, 79, was born on September 29, 1933, the son of Sylvester and Wanda (Van Buren) Quigley. He was baptized and confirmed at Church of the Visitation in Danvers. Michael was born and raised on the family farm near Danvers. He attended the Morris Ag School. Michael farmed and later worked for Combined Life Insurance. In 1998 he was united in marriage to Joan Anderson at St. Francis Catholic Church in Benson, by Fr. Steve Ver Helst. Michael loved music and listening to bands. He was called from this life on May 07, 2013, at Luther Haven Care Center in Montevideo. Michael is survived by his wife, Joan; his step-children: Ronald Anderson of Minneapolis, Alan (Razil) Anderson of Montevideo, Renae Toov of Shakopee; Step-grandchildren: Erica Clausen and Tamara Anderson; and step-great-grandchild, Jordin Clausen. Michael is preceded in death by his first wife, Gina, and his parents, Sylvester and Wanda.
