Donald Alan Grussing

Donald Alan Grussing was born to Alma (Hess) and John Grussing on July 11, 1956 in Benson, Minnesota. He was baptized and confirmed in the Catholic faith at St. Francis Catholic Church. Donald grew up and attended school in Benson. On August 10, 1978, he was united in marriage to Jill Susette Sadergaski. Together, they were able to share in more than 34 years of marriage and the union was blessed with 2 children and 3 grandchildren. Donald worked at Loral and then at Case. Among the things he enjoyed were old cars, spending time with the grandchildren, and visiting with family and friends. He also liked spending time in his garage, hunting when able, and enjoyed horses and dogs. He was called from this life on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN. He attained the age of 56 years, 8 months and 23 days. Donald is survived by his wife, Jill; children, Cory (Jamey) Grussing of Benson and Melissa (Chris Moen) Grussing of Dawson; grandchildren, Megan Grussing, Jordan Grussing, and Scott Moen; siblings, Nancy of New York, Gary Grussing of Burnsville, Sandy Ebnet of Benson, Pete (Diane) Grussing of Benson, Jim (Marianne) Grussing of Benson, Tom (Cindy) Grussing of Geddes, SD, Cindy Grussing of Benson, and Pat Grussing of Sebeka; stepsister, Betty of Montevideo; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alma and John Grussing; and siblings, Dave, Jerry, and Sally.
