Clariene Ardelle Stutelberg was born on July 04, 1929, in Rochester, Michigan, the daughter of Oliver and Evelyn Margarette (Witsoe) Olson. She was baptized in Rochester, Michigan and later her family moved to Alexandria, Minnesota. She was confirmed in Alexandria and graduated from Alexandria High School. On November 29, 1949, Clariene was united in marriage to James John Stutelberg at the St. Mary's Catholic Church Parsonage in Alexandria by Father Folsum. This union was blessed with over 63 years of marriage. She worked at the First Farmer's National Bank in Alexandria, the Swift County Bank in Benson, TCI in Benson, and at the Benson Alfalfa Plant. She accompanied Jim to Paris, France for 6 months in 1952, during Jim's time in the service. Clariene was a member of the Bridge Club, Sewing Club, and ORW at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church. She enjoyed sewing, embroidery, playing Bridge, cooking, and camping. She was called from this life on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at the Golden Living Center - Meadow Lane. She attained the age of 83 years, 8 months, and 10 days. She is survived by her husband, Jim, of Benson; foster daughter, Shirley (John) Dove of Dawson; foster grandchildren: Logan Dove and Lynn Marotzke; foster great- grandchildren: Cadence Dove, Triton Dove, Piper Dove, Tyson Benike, and Jaxon Marotzke; brothers: Orris (Janice) Olson, Ruebin Olson, and Dennis (Judy) Olson, all of Alexandria; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Evelyn, and a sister-in-law, Karen Olson.
