Clifford Leland Bronniche was born in Benson, MN to Hattie Olson and Clifford Bronniche on March 24, 1930. He graduated from Benson High School in 1948 and was employed at J.C. Penney's. Cliff enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1950 and served for 2 years. In 1954, Cliff married Joan Friedlein and moved to Minneapolis to attend Minneapolis School of Business. After graduation, he moved his young family to Hibbing where he worked as an accountant for Hibbing Service Garage and 36 years later retired in 1992 as VP of Jasper Engineering. Cliff enjoyed family life in northern MN and spent many hours following HHS sports, fishing, hunting, trap shooting, and learning the game of golf. He was a Shriner, a Mason and served in various service organizations. Cliff and Joan reveled in their retirement years in Benson, MN, happily renewing connections with family and old friends, making new friends, and serving the community he so dearly loved. Cliff is survived by the love of his life, Joan; daughters Lori Tauer of St. Paul, Robin Wheelecor (George) of Chisholm, Lisa Printon (Richard) of Stillwater; sons Craig Bronniche (Mary) of Hibbing, Clifford Bronniche (Terry) of Duluth; grandchildren Dustin Tauer, Lindsey Tauer, Kella Chenoweth (Bryan), Craig Bronniche, Jenny Theroux, Michael Wheelecor, Amanda Mattson (Chris), Chelsea Wheelecor, Clifford Bronniche, Jessie Bronniche, Tony Printon, Alex Printon, Rachel Printon; great-grandchildren Peyton Mattson, Spencer Mattson, Quinn Wheelecor, Hadley Ellingson; and siblings Roger Bronniche, Janice Ecklund, Karen Manska (Bob), Lyn Bronniche, Richard Bronniche (recently deceased), and Linda Svor (Don).
