Melanie G. Mills, was born on December 11, 1966, in Paynesville, Minnesota, the daughter of Lester and Bernice Theis Mills. Melanie graduated from Eden Valley High School. She lived in Eden Valley, St. Paul, Paynesville, and Benson. Melanie's strong faith in God was a witness to all who knew her. She loved her family, music, nature, cats, fireflies, her fur coat and her scarves. Melanie's many talents included being the best babysitter, she was a great listener, becoming a musician, and having an accepting, youthful, and loving heart. Melanie was called from this life on Sunday, May 30, 2010 at the Willmar Commons. She attained the age of 43 years, 5 months, and 19 days. She is survived by her siblings Cleo (Ron) Theis of Montevideo, Laurel (Mike) McManus of St. Paul, Darcy (Paulette) Mill of Eden Valley, and Anthony Mills of St. Cloud; her nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and very dear and loyal friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Lester and Bernice.
