William "Bill" Fath was born on November 8, 1959 in Benson, Minnesota, the son of Joseph Francis and Donna Marie (Klassen) Fath. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Bridget's Catholic Church in DeGraff. He grew up in Kildare Township, DeGraff, and graduated from Benson High School and attended Alexandria Technical College. On April 25, 2009, Bill was united in marriage to Camilla "Cami" Ann Rosenboom at her parents' farm in Verdi Township, Lincoln County, Minnesota. Together they were able to share in more than 3 years of marriage. Bill worked as a welder at CASE IH and as a baker at Cashwise in Willmar. He lived in Benson for many years until 2009, when he moved to Montevideo. Among the things Bill enjoyed were fishing, hunting, cooking, reading and spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He loved kids. Bill was called from this life on August 6, 2012 at in Montevideo, MN. He attained the age of 52 years and 8 months and 29 days. He is survived by his wife, Camilla; parents, Joseph and Donna Fath of Benson; in-laws, Gary and Carolyn Rosenboom of Verdi; siblings: Linda (George) Wall of Benson, Jim (Deb) Fath of Shakopee, Mike (Sheila) Fath of St. Cloud, FL, Teresa (Scott) Lamecker of Kerkhoven; nieces and nephews: Carrie, Dana, Dan, Sarah, Derek, LaKeshia, Andrew, Travis, Alexis, Michelle, Stephanie, Aidan, Logan, Kaitlyn, and Emily; many great nieces and nephews; godfather, Tom Klassen; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, John and Adeline Klassen, and paternal grandparents, Pete and Margaret Fath.
