Mark Ralph Munsterman

Mark Ralph Munsterman was born at Appleton on November 11, 1951, to Ralph F. and Florence H. (Volgerson) Munsterman. He was baptized on December 11, 1951, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Shible Township and was confirmed on June 6, 1965, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Appleton. He graduated from Appleton High School and then attended Willmar Junior College and then graduated from Moorhead State College with a degree in social work.Mark worked as a social worker for Sibley and Kandiyohi counties and also at the West Central Tribune. He loved gardening, flowers, and helping the needy. He enjoyed visiting and helping the elderly and was caregiver to his mother for many years.Mark died unexpectedly on Tuesday, December 29, in Willmar. He had attained 58 years, 1 month, and 18 days of age.He is survived by two sisters: Anita (David) Maras of Willmar and Mary (David) Larson of Hector; five nieces and nephews: Daniel (Sara) Maras, Michael (Laurie) Maras, Matthew Maras, Jaime (Michael) Larson-McLoone, and Jolane Larson; six great-nieces and nephews: Morgan and Mya Maras, and Tiffani, Garrett, Lauren, and Alena Maras; and other relatives and friends.He is preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Florence Munsterman.
