Vincent Peter Lonneman was born July 19, 1924, in Adrian, Minnesota, the son of Antone and Elizabeth (Wiedert) Lonneman. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Adrians Catholic Church. Vincent grew up on the family farm near Adrian and attended school at St. Adrian Catholic School. He served his country in the United States Army during World War II from 1945 to 1946 as a military policeman in Germany. On May 2, 1949, Vincent was united in marriage to Jean Clare Moran at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ellsworth, Minnesota. They were blessed with nine children and 60 years of marriage. Vincent was a farmer his entire life. He loved watching his crops come up in the spring and enjoyed driving around the countryside looking at all the farmland. He served as District Secretary of Associated Milk Producers for many years. Among the things he enjoyed were traveling, reading and fishing on Lake of the Woods. Vincent was called from this life on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Meadow Lane Golden Living Center in Benson. He attained the age of 85 years, 3 months and 28 days. Vincent is survived by his wife Jean of Benson; his children: Patricia (Edward) Lauricella of New Orleans, LA, Kathleen (Gary) Haacke of Boston, MA, Steve (Marguerite) Lonneman of San Rafael, CA, James (Carla) Lonneman of Hancock, Keith (Mary) Lonneman of Benson, Dennis (Marylou) Lonneman of Denver, CO, Theresa (Bernard) Tvedt of Danvers, Gary (Jill) Lonneman of Benson and Marie (Curt) Wevley of Starbuck; sixteen grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; six step-great grandchildren; siblings: Leona Lonneman of Adrian, Lorraine Marnack of Sioux Falls, SD, Sylvester ( Helen ) Lonneman of Adrian, Anthony (Rita) Lonneman of Adrian, Orville (Elaine) Lonneman of Sioux Falls, and Francis ( Susie ) Lonneman of Adrian; and other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents, Antone and Elizabeth; a brother Joseph Lonneman; a sister, Rita Cook; and a brother-in-law, Norbert Marnack.
