Bonnie Lou Jeitz was born September 29, 1947, in Alexandria, Minnesota, the daughter of Elmer and Mildred (Johnson) Seward. She was called from this life on Monday morning, June 8th at the Glacial Ridge Health System Hospital in Glenwood, MN. She had attained the age of 61 years, 8 months and 9 days. She was baptized and confirmed at Calvary Lutheran Church in Alexandria. She grew up in Alexandria and graduated from Alexandria High School. She attended one year at St. Cloud State University. On August 26, 1967, Bonnie was united in marriage to Bradford Stanley Jeitz at Calvary Lutheran Church in Alexandria. They were blessed with two daughters. Together, Bonnie and Brad were able to share in 41 years of marriage. Bonnie was a farmwife and worked with Brad on their farm in Hoff Township. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. Bonnie was a member of West Zion Lutheran Church and the ladies group there. She served in various church offices. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed playing cards, and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Bonnie was called from this life on Monday, June 08, 2009 at Glacial Ridge Hospital in Glenwood. She attained the age of 61 years, 8 months and 9 days. Bonnie is survived by her husband Brad of Hancock; her daughters: Becky (Roger) Hippe of Starbuck and Sherry (Bill) Rutledge of Bemidji; five grandchildren: Cody Rutledge, Jennifer Hippe, Collin Rutledge, Lee Hippe, and Brady Rutledge; a brother, Rod (Jan) Seward of Carlos; one sister-in-law, Corliss Seward of Eagle Bend; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her parents, Elmer and Mildred; a grandchild, Gabrielle Rutledge; and two brothers: Elvin and Darrel Seward.
