Marlo Allen Remund was born October 21, 1944, at Graceville, Minnesota to Lester L. and Myrna (King) Remund. He graduated from Wilmot High School and went on to receive his Associates Degree in Accounting. October 26, 1974, he was married to Lorelie T. Johnson LeMay in North St. Paul.Marlo served ten years as Personnel Senior Sergeant and 13 years as Administrative Specialist during his career in the Army. He was a member of the VFW and served in many positions. His highest position held was District Commander. He was also a member of the DAV.He enjoyed puzzles, John Deere collectibles, gardening, watching baseball, reading western novels and bowling. Marlo was a calm and steady force dedicated to his family, friends, and veterans.Marlo died on Thursday, December 23, at his home in Waite Park. He had attained 66 years, 2 months, and 2 days of age.He is survived by his wife, Lori, of Waite Park; four children: Tina LeMay (Wael Mohamed) of Brooklyn Center, Angela (Greg) Stegeman of Willmar, Robert LeMay of Willmar, and Jim Remund of Waite Park; seven grandchildren: Christina Stegeman, Tyler Stegeman, Matthew Stegeman, Kylie Ernst, Paige Ernst, Ian Remund, and Conner Remund; his mother, Myrna Remund, of Appleton; brother, Russell Remund, of Appleton; two sisters: Ruth Ann (Mike) Drotzman of Tabor, SD, and June Vinderslev of Appleton; and numerous other family members.He is preceded in death by his father, Lester Remund; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
