Johnathon Lynn Minchow was born November 24, 1975 in Benson, Minnesota, the son of Don Minchow and Mary Lou Swenson. Johnathon was baptized on November 30, 1975 by Father Paul Gorman at St. Francis Catholic Church in Benson, MN. He grew up in Benson and attended St. Francis Catholic School and Benson High School. John worked with his dad, Don, and his brother, Josh, at NAPA Auto Parts Store in Benson. John was called from this life on Tuesday, June 5, 2012. He attained the age of 36 years, 6 months and 12 days. John was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Family Groups and the Shamrock Hest Riding Club. Among the things John enjoyed were singing and listening to music, trail rides and camping, target shooting, visiting at the fort, campfires, watching movies, enjoying nature, feeding apples to the deer, and spending time with family. John is survived by his father, Don Minchow, Jr., of Benson, MN; his mother, Mary Lou Swenson of Madison, MN; his brothers Josh (Jessica) Minchow of Benson, MN, and Joel Swenson of Madison, MN; his sister Joy Nicholson (fiancé Jack Solomon); his grandmother, Mary Lu Minchow; five nieces and nephews: Patrick Minchow, Isaac Minchow, Lindsey Minchow, Abby Nicholson, and Brody Solomon; aunts and uncles; and many other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his grandfather Don Minchow, Sr.; his grandparents Ted and Adeline Swenson; his uncle Jerry Swenson; his aunt Barbara (Swenson) Rodi; and uncle Michael Swenson in infancy.
