Arnold "Arnie" W. Smith was born October 9th, 1952 in Montevideo, Minnesota. He was the son of Ellmor and Audrey (Knutson) Smith. Arnie was born and raised in Montevideo, he was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul's Lutheran Church and graduated from Montevideo High School. On February 26th, 1972, Arnie was united in marriage to Carol Moe at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Together, they shared 40 years of marriage and were blessed with 2 children. Arnie operated a turkey farm in Swift Falls, MN. He enjoyed knitting, wood working, and spending time with his many friends and family. Arnold W. Smith was called from this life on Monday, April 30th, 2012.He is survived by his wife Carol of Swift Falls; his 2 sons, Adrian (Jocelyn) Smith of Swift Falls and Albert (Marissa) Smith of Glenwood; three grandchildren, Ross, Chase and Harper; his sister Ann (Doug) Stark of Montevideo. He is preceded in death by his parents Ellmor and Audrey Smith, two brothers Albert and Alvin and his sister Avis.
