Madge Emma Osterbauer was born in Flanders, South Dakota, to David and Mary Collins on June 5, 1914. She was baptized in Flanders and confirmed at the Catholic Church in Willmar. She grew up in Raymond and Murdock. Madge married James Commerford on January 23, 1935. They were blessed with two children. Jim passed away in 1984. She married Rudy Osterbauer and lived on a farm south of DeGraff. After Rudy's death, she moved to Buffalo to be near her son's family, where she lived at Sunrise Assisted Living and then Sunrise Cottages for memory loss. Madge was called from this life on January 30, 2012 at the Sunrise Cottages in Buffalo with her family by her side. She attained the age of 97 years, 7 months and 25 days. Madge is survived by a sister Ronnie (Evan) Olson of Wheaton; five grandchildren: Jaime (Chip) Sueker of Buffalo, Shawna (Kurt) Fadden of Buffalo, Corey (Becky) Commerford of Buffalo, Laurie (Rock Lewandowski) Lauder of Isanti, and Lynn (John Bryant) Lauder of Savage; seven great grandchildren: Steph (Theron) Pemberton, Nikki Anderson, Jake Kenmir, Jana Kenmir, Jessa Fadden, Kailey & Connor Commerford; three great-great grandchildren: Devin & Kinzie Anderson, Nora Pemberton; daughter-in-law Marge Commerford; son-in-law Jim (Kathleen) Lauder; sister-in-law, Mary Collins; step-children: John (Eileen) Osterbauer, Roxanne (Warren) Nehving and Jerry Osterbauer; and other relatives and friends. Preceding her in death were her first husband James Commerford, her second husband Rudy Osterbauer; her son Jerry Commerford; her daughter Karen Lauder; a grandson Troy Commerford; her parents; five brothers: Vince, Tom, Dave, Pat and Jim Collins; two sisters: Sally Fredine and Winnie Dineen; and a step-son Bobby Osterbauer.
