Harry Franklin Lee was born August 25, 1951 in Benson, Minnesota, the son of Harry Maurice and Elaine (Alm) Lee. He was baptized and confirmed at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Benson. Harry graduated from Benson High School. On October 13, 1973, he was united in marriage to Darlene Ranae O'Malley at St. Francis Catholic Church in Benson. They were blessed with a daughter and 32 years of marriage. Darlene passed away in 2005. The family lived in Benson and Harry worked for Duininck Bros Construction, Elmer's Distributing of Morris, Loral of Benson, and at Hancock Concrete until his work injury. He was a member of A.B.A.T.E. of Minnesota. Among the things he enjoyed were golfing (in his early years), riding his Harley, fishing, and driving his Camero. Harry was called from this life on Friday, October 21, 2011 at his home. He attained the age of 60 years, 1 month and 26 days. Harry is survived by his daughter, Carla (Shane) Sletta of Willmar; two grandchildren: Halee Sletta and Cami Sletta; siblings: Maryanne (Ray) Luschen of Benson, Marla (Gaylen) Thompson of Pennock, Madeline (Clinton) Raasch of Willmar, and Susan (Lee) Pierce of Bonnersferry, ID; and other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents: Harry and Elaine Lee; wife: Darlene R. Lee in 2005; two brothers: Leighton Lee and Warren Lee; and one sister: April Wlazlak.
