Beverly Elaine Hoffman was born April 25, 1935 at Wendell, Minnesota, the daughter of Otto and Fern (Gepner) Puchalski. She was baptized May 10, 1935, by Pastor A.F. Gross in Wendell and confirmed into the Lutheran Faith at St. Mark's in Benson on May 9, 1948. Beverly attended country school in Danvers and Clontarf and graduated from Benson High School, in 1953.On May 18, 1991, she was united in marriage to K.R. (Butch) Hoffman by Rev. Kruse. They were blessed with 20 years of marriage. They lived in Holloway and she worked at Future Products in Benson for a number of years and then at the Apple Café in Appleton. Bev loved family, gardening, quilting, but especially her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Bev was very active in Zion Lutheran Church and was Chairman of the funeral committee for a number of years, until she got ill and had to stop.Bev was called from this life on Wednesday, September 15th 2011, at the St. Cloud Hospital, with her husband and her children around her. She had attained 76 years, 4 months, and 20 days of age.Beverly is survived by her husband, K.R. (Butch) Hoffman, 9 children including:Michael (Roseanne)Hoffman, Hancock, Bradley (Mysti) Burns, Terry Jo (Michael) Shahan, Beven (Jamie) Burns all of Oklahoma, LaVae M. Hoffman, Virginia, David Hoffman, Arizona, Ronald Hoffman of Plymouth, Jim (Becky) Hoffman of Holloway and Theresa Vogel (Jim Vannoordt) of Dawson; 24 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren. Also surviving are three brothers: James, Edward (Betty), & Otto Jr "Butch" (Ellen) Puchalski, 6 sisters: Patricia (Norman) Baker, Mary Ellen Hoefer, Ruth Ann Cleary, Helen (Dick) Lee, Joyce (Jack) Verch, Shirley (Tom) Razink; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.She is preceded in death by her parents; her first and second husbands: Duane Hoffman and Benedict Burns; her infant twin sister; grandson, Colton Wayne Burns; great-grandson, Blaine Justin Burns; her brother, Raymond Puchalski; two sisters-in-law and a brother-in-law.
