Gerald Warren "Jerry" Molden was born November 9, 1945 in Appleton, Minnesota, the son of Warren and Doris (Christenson) Molden. He was baptized and confirmed in the Christian faith. On July 9, 1966 he was married to Patricia Blair in Appleton. They were blessed with two children. Gerald worked on construction for years. He also worked for Hancock concrete. Jerry loved music and played several instruments including the guitar, banjo, and drums. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Gerald was called from this life on July 1, 2011 at his home in Alexandria. He attained the age of 64 years, 7 months and 22 days. Jerry is survived by his children: Kelly (Mitchell) Peterson of Sartell and Korey (Brenda) Molden of Benson; eight grandchildren: Kelsey (Jason) Rutland, Sarah Roggatz, Zach and Becca Peterson, Bradley, Bailey, Brooke and Kaysha Molden; four great grandchildren: Carter, Isabella and Nevaeh Bundy, and Faith Rutland; his mother, Doris Molden of Benson; special friend, Paulette Bachman; sisters: JoAnn Vergin of Benson and Jackie (Jody) Collins of Benson; a brother James (Linda) Molden of Benson; and other relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his father, Warren; grandparents; and brother-in-law, Jerry Rohloff.
