Allen “Butch” Sadergaski, 76, of Appleton, Minnesota, died on Friday evening, July 11, 2025, at CentraCare - St. Cloud Hospital, St. Cloud, Minnesota. A celebration of life will be held at the Appleton VFW on Friday, July 25, 2025, from 5:00 to 8:00 pm. Burial will be held at the Appleton Cemetery on a future date.
Allen James Sadergaski was born on May 17, 1949, in Appleton, Minnesota, the son of Alex and Agnes (Rudnick) Sadergaski. He was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Catholic Church in Appleton. He grew up and attended school in Appleton. At the age of 21, Butch started driving gravel truck for Larson Gravel and then drove for Commerford Gravel until his retirement due to his health. He enjoyed fishing, especially ice fishing, hunting, and took great pride in his vehicles. Butch will always be remembered as someone who was always very personable; he loved to visit with everyone, family, and friends alike.
Butch is survived by his lifelong companion Linda Holzheimer; stepchildren Carrie Viessman and Darin (Raina) Holzheimer of Sacred Heart; sister-in-law Lucy Sadergaski (Richard) of Stewart, MN; nieces: Carol (Dean) Nelson, Anne (Steve) Bogardus, and Brandon Sadergaski; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; as well as many relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Alex and Agnes Sadergaski, brothers Dwayne Sadergaski and Richard Sadergaski; sister-in-law Marsha Sadergaski; and stepson Ryan Holzheimer.
