She was baptized on July 19, 1936, by Father Wohlfohrt at St. Michael’s Catholic Church and she was confirmed there on May 6, 1950, by the Archbishop John D. Murr. Anita graduated from Madison High School, Class of 1954.  After high school she went to work at the ASC Office for three years.

On August 31, 1957, Anita was united in marriage to John Joseph Hallaway at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Madison. This union was blessed with over 64 years of marriage.
