Bradley Showalter, age 65, of rural Danvers, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021, in his home. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at 2 p.m., at Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson. Pastor Zane Anderson will officiate. Burial will be in Nesbitt Red Butte Cemetery, Hazen, North Dakota.
Bradley Dean Showalter was born June 26, 1956 in Winton, Minnesota, son of John and Ione (Swensrud) Showalter. Bradley graduated from Virginia High School in 1974, continuing his education at Hibbing Vocational Tech Institute. After leaving school he worked at many restaurants early on and owned the Clover Leaf in Benson. The last 15 years of his life, he worked for Wanzek Construction in Fargo in the wind tower division. On November 27, 2019, Bradley was united in marriage to Linda Devillers in Jamestown North Dakota.
Bradley loved many activities like fishing, cooking and grilling out. He had a deep fondness of Chris Stapleton’s music, and loved apple cinnamon cereal. He also loved his two dogs, Scooby and Hemi.
Bradley was called from this life June 26, 2021; he attained 65 years of age. He is survived by his wife: Linda Devillers of Danvers; children: Megan Showalter of St. Cloud, and Jared (Tammy) Showalter of Hibbing; grandchildren: Haley Weyer, Nicholas Weyer, Jayden Showalter, Jaxon Showalter; siblings: Brian (Karla) Showalter of Swift Falls, Carol (Ron) Augustson of Chisholm, Bruce (Sharon) Showalter of Buhl; and many nephews and nieces.
Preceding him in death are his grandparents; parents; his wife, Sandy; and son, Garrit.
