Connie Bjork

Connie Jean Bjork, 61, died on Saturday morning, August 6, 2022, at the St. Cloud Hospital. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 8, from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm at Our Redeemer's Lutheran Church in Benson, Minnesota, followed by the memorial service at 1:30 pm. Interment will be in the Benson City Cemetery.

Connie Jean Bjork was born on August 11, 1960, in Benson, Minnesota, the daughter of Lavon and Vera Brandt Lund. She was baptized and confirmed in Benson. She grew up in Danvers, Minnesota and graduated from Benson Senior High School.

On September 29, 1984, Connie was united in marriage to Ronald Bjork at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church in Benson. This union was blessed with over 37 years of marriage. They made their home in Pennock, Minnesota. She worked as a medical secretary at ACMC in Willmar, Minnesota. She loved her pets and over the years Ron and Connie were able to care for many dogs and cats. She enjoyed cooking homemade soups and making greeting cards with “Stamping Up”. She loved spending time at the lake home with her family. She was called from this life on August 6, 2022, at the St. Cloud Hospital. She attained the age of 61 years, 11 months, and 26 days of age.

Connie is survived by her husband Ron of Pennock, her parents; Lavon and Vera of Danvers; her siblings Sheila (Leroy) Fahje of Alberta., and David (Deb) Lund of Danvers; and several other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her grandparents and her father-in-law. Blessed be her memory.
