Daron Ray Myers

Daron Ray Myers , age 66, died of natural causes on Sunday, December 27 th , 2020 in Benson, MN. Daron was born on April 3, 1954 in Brainerd, MN to Marvin and Arla (Heath) Myers. He graduated from Worthington High School, in Worthington MN. He attended college in Kansas City for aviation mechanic.

He married Lois (Deuel) and they raised two daughters, Michelle and Angela. At a later date, he married Crystal ( Lokeman ). Crystal Lokemon had two children from a previous marriage – Heather and Laura – who Daron raised as his own for many years.

Daron had a passion for motorcycles, wizards, stock cars, CB radios, and small electronic repair. Daron Myers was working for Music Service in Marshall, MN and later found his love to open his own business, Daron’s Electronics. Daron was most recently employed as a slot technician at Jackpot Junction Casino in Morton, MN.

Daron is survived by his mother, Arla (Heath) Myers; daughter, Michelle Myers, Rochester; and Angela Myers, Rochester; sister, Jennifer (Mike) Clasen ; nephew, Christopher ( Mauryah ) Clasen ; and niece, Ashley (Christopher) Hanson.

He is preceded in death by his sister, Cheryl Schmidt; brother-in-law, Eugene Schmidt; father, Marvin Myers; grandfather, Myron Myers; grandmother, Blanche (Stone) Myers; grandfather, Merle Heath; and grandmother, Laura (Schwartz) Heath.

A private burial ceremony will be held by the family at a later date. A celebration of life will be held for the public at a later date. In lieu of flowers, family is asking cards and monetary donations be sent to Michelle and Angela Myers at 2514 24 th Ave NW Rochester MN 55901.
