Joann Jagow

JoAnn Jagow, 80, died at her home near Holloway, Minnesota on April 3, 2022. Visitation will be held at the Zniewski Funeral Home in Benson from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday, May 20, 2022. A private family service will be held. Zniewski Funeral Home of Benson is assisting the family with the arrangements.

JoAnn Carol Arnold Jagow was born on September 6, 1941, at home near Appleton, Minnesota, the daughter of Arthur and Martha Arnold.  She was baptized a St. John’s Lutheran Church and later confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church Fairfield Township. She attended Swift County Country School District #35 and later graduated from Appleton High School, after graduation she moved to Minneapolis for a time before she returned to the area.

On December 11, 1965JoAnn was united in marriage to Harry Jagow, together they were able to share in over 39 years of marriage.  They made their home on the Jagow family farm. She worked for Tyler Manufacturing in Benson until her retirement.

Joann enjoyed flowers, gardening, antiquing and flea markets, knitting, painting, making arts and crafts, and was a good cook. She liked to hunt with Harry, and they loved to take Hunting trips out west.  JoAnn was always up for a challenge and will be remembered for her independent can-do spirit.

JoAnn is survived by her sisters, her stepchildren, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and extended family and friends. JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband Harry, her parents, her brother Kenneth and two brothers-in-law.  Blessed be her memory.
