Kylene M. Ahrndt, 71 , of Benson, Minnesota, died on Sunday morning, October 27, 2019 at the Gabriel House in Murdock, Minnesota, Minnesota. Visitation will be held at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church in Benson, from 6:00 pm – 8:00 p.m. on, Friday, November 1, 2019, and will continue from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on November 2, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church, Benson. Kylene Marie Ahrndt was born on July 25, 1948 in Montevideo, the daughter of Robert and Alice Marie (Hoaas) Friedrich. She was baptized on July 31, 1948 at Kviteseid Lutheran Church in Milan and was confirmed at Big Bend Lutheran Church in 1963. She grew up in the Big Bend Area and graduated from Milan High School.
On February 11, 1967, she was united in marriage to Larry Allen Ahrndt at Big Bend Lutheran Church by Pastor Samuelson. They made their home in the Danvers, Minnesota area. This union was blessed with over 52 years of marriage.
Kylene stayed on the farm and raised her two sons and later worked for Web Livestock and at Do Mats in Benson for many years. She was a member of Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church, 4-H, and Pork Producers. She served as a volunteer for Prairie Five and the quilting group at church. She enjoyed cross stitching, walking, traveling, and playing cards, dice, and dominos. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was called from this life on Sunday morning October 27, at the Gabriel House in Murdock. She attained the age of 71 years, 3 months, 3 days.
She is survived by her Husband Larry Ahrndt of Benson; two sons, Trevor (Jean) Ahrndt of Benson and Anthony (Amanda) Ahrndt of Sartell; four grandchildren Brianna Ahrndt (Philip) McGee, Dylan (Taylor) Ahrndt, Riley Ahrndt, and Alissa Ahrndt, and many other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her biological dad Robert Friedrich, her mother Alice Molden, her stepfather Eugene Molden, and Aunts and Uncles. Blessed be the memory of Kylene Ahrndt.
