Linda Ann Huffman, 68, of Benson, died on Sunday morning, February 02, 2020 at the Gabriel House in Murdock, Minnesota. Visitation will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Thursday, February 6, followed by a funeral service at 2:00 pm at Trinity Lutheran Church in Benson. In lieu of flowers memorial preferred to Rice Hospice. Arrangements are with Zniewski Funeral Home.
Linda Huffman was born on June 2, 1951, the daughter of James and Dorothy Pederson Huffman, in Benson, Minnesota. She was baptized at the Episcopal Church in Appleton, Minnesota and she was confirmed at the Bethseda Lutheran Church in Carlton, Minnesota by the Rev. Robert Mader. She grew up in Appleton, Swift Falls, Murdock, and Carlton, Minnesota. She graduated from Benson High School. She worked at Lorenz Manufacturing in Benson then moved to Alaska to work there. She moved back to Benson in 1991 and worked at Country Inn and Suites and Agvise until her retirement in 2014.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church in Benson. She enjoyed going for walks with her dog Patches, doing crossword puzzles and gardening. She missed working after her retirement. Linda loved spending time with her family. She was called from this life on Sunday morning, February 2, 2020 at the Gabriel House in Murdock. She attained the age of 68 years, and 8 months.
Linda is survived by her daughter Jamie Huffman and special friend Jamie Maus of Melrose; a grandson Michael; her sisters Laura (Randy) Slaughter of Benson, Rosemary (Steve) Petersen of DeGraff, Ellen (Vince) Bailey of Phoenix, Arizona, and Debbie Mader of Fairbault; her foster parents Robert and Pat Mader, and Wilbert Erdmann; Her nieces and nephews David (Heather) Flannigan, Karrie (Alan) Bahr, Ben (Jennie) Weber, Rachel Bailey, Sam (Tori) Petersen, and Becca (Scott) Girard; and several other relatives and many wonderful friends. She is preceded in death by her husband Kenny Bergman, her parents James and Dorothy, a daughter Julie Ann Bergman, a sister MaryLou Huffman, and her foster mother Deloris Erdmann. Blessed be her memory.
