Lucy Jo Treichel

Lucy Jo (Fredine) Treichel, 70, of Benson, Minnesota, died at her home in Benson on Wednesday, March 19, 2025. A graveside memorial service will be held Saturday May 17th at 2:00 p.m. at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Cemetery in Benson, Minnesota.
Lucy was born July 6, 1954, in Benson, Minnesota, the daughter of Ray (Buck) and Virginia (Ginny) (Nelson) Fredine. She grew up in Benson and graduated from Benson High School. On February 15, 1973, she gave birth to a son Luke Seth Hanson. Lucy held various jobs throughout her lifetime from hairdresser to receptionist. Lucy had a love for horses, dogs, and birds. She will be greatly missed by many.
Lucy is survived by her sisters Polly McDermott and Nancy Moline; granddaughter Cori Gades, great-grandchildren: Lukis, Lita, and Milo Gades; nieces and nephews: Casey (JoLene) Moline, Lisa (Tony) Moline, Ashley Moline, Kyle McDermott, Chelsea Moline, Katelyn (Bryce) Zoellner; and many other loved ones.
Lucy was preceded in death by her son Luke Hanson, mother Virginia Fredine, father Ray Fredine; sister Barbara Vogstrom; brothers-in-law: Patrick McDermott, John Vogstrom, and Warren Moline; and many other loved ones.
