Marcella Louise Mrozek

Marcella Louise Mrozek, age 76, of Appleton, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020, in Meadow Lane Nursing Home in Benson.  Burial will be at a later date in Appleton City Cemetery.

Marcella Louise Mrozek was born January 4, 1944, in Benson, Minnesota the daughter of Emery and Helen (Toothman) Goff.  She was raised in the Danvers area and was baptized at First Baptist Church in Benson.  Marcella attended Benson High School, where she graduated, Class of 1962.  On February 10, 1962 she was united in marriage to Charles Mrozek at First Baptist Church in Benson, by Rev. Devieres.  This union was blessed with over 58 years together and three children: Tamila, Robert, and Robin.

During her working years, Marcella was employed as a computer programmer/technician for Control Data, IBM, Usher Smith, Benson Optical, Gertsen, Norano Utility, and Zek Trucking.  Marcella enjoyed woodworking and spending time in her flower garden.  Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.

Marcella passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2020, at Meadow Lane Healthcare-Care Center in Benson.  She attained 76 years, 9 months, and 24 days of age.  Marcella is survived by her husband, Charles Mrozek of Appleton; children: Tamila (Nick) Palumbo, Robert (Brittney) Mrozek, and Robin (Joyce) Mrozek; her grandson, Andrew Palumbo; her brother, George (Jessie) Goff; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Emery and Helen Goff; parents-in-law, Martin and Fannie Mrozek; siblings: Katherine (Ray) Walace, Luveren (Donna) Goff, David (Sadie) Goff; and sister-in-law, Muriel Goff.
