Marlene "Molly" Bredeson

Molly Bredeson, age 68, of Appleton, died Wednesday, May 31, 2023, in her home. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m., with a memorial service at 11 a.m., Friday, June 9, 2023, at First Congregational Church in Appleton. Rev. Herbert Rotunda will officiate.

Marlene Louise Bredeson, lovingly known as Molly, was born January 18, 1955, in Gary, South Dakota, the daughter of Alfred and Audrey (TeGantvoort) Koelke. Molly was raised in the Madison, Canby, and Clarkfield areas, graduating from Clarkfield High School, Class of 1973. During her working years, Molly was employed as an EMT, Medical Aide, and Certified Nursing Assistant (in both Clarkfield and Appleton). On February 23, 2012, Molly was united in marriage to Daniel Bredeson by Rev. Herbert Rotunda, at First Congregational Church in Appleton. The couple made their home in Appleton.

Molly passed away Wednesday, May 31, 2023, in her home. She attained 68 years, 4 months, and 13 days of age. Molly is survived by her husband, Dan Bredeson of Appleton; her children: Jamie Heisner (Laura), Adam Heisner (Angie), and Corey Heisner (Karla); her grandchildren: Ezra Heisner and Griffin Heisner; sister, Darla Moore; her brothers-in-law: Dave (Julie) Bredeson and Mike Bredeson; and her nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Audrey Koelke; her sister, Connie Nelson; and her parents-in-law, Maurice and Julia Bredeson.
