Nancy Delores Crandall, 64, of Benson, MN, died on Saturday, February 11, 2023, at her daughter’s home in Benson, under hospice care. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 25, 2023 , at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Benson, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Benson. Nancy Delores Crandall was born on January 8, 1959, in Benson, MN the daughter of Lester Erving and Caroline Ann (Bailey) Crandall. She was baptized in Franklin, Nebraska on February 10, 1964. She was confirmed at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Benson, MN on May 18, 1975, by Rev. Stockman. She grew up in Benson where she attended school thru the eleventh grade. She later attended Alexandria Technical college, where she earned her GED.
Nancy lived in Sacred Heart, MN and retired from Prairies Edge Casino. She then moved to Paynesville, MN to be closer to her brothers and sisters and most recently lived in Benson to be with her daughter.
Nancy loved and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed horses, playing bingo, the casino, baking, playing cards, crocheting and word find puzzles.
Nancy is survived by her children: Crystal (Nathan) Crandall of Benson, MN, Lisa Crandall of Sacred Heart, MN and Rocky Hunter Jr. of Sauk Centre, MN; seven grandchildren: Alyssa Wollschlager, Caroline Crandall, Savannah Crandall, Jo Harris, Percy Miller, Maddison Miller and Hannah Hunter; Siblings: Richard (Anke) Crandall of Jackson, MN, JoAnn Crandall of Paynesville, MN and Thomas (Debra) Crandall of Paynesville, MN; several nieces and nephews.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents: Lester and Caroline Crandall and her sister: Patricia Crandall.
