Pam Kelly was born on August 27, 1937, to Ben and Bertha (Sande) Iverson in Gilchrist Township, Pope County, MN. She attended District #2 country school, then attended Murdock High School and graduated in 1955. It was during that time that she met the love of her life, John Kelly. They were married on February 27, 1960, and settled down on their dairy farm south of Murdock.
Beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Pam dedicated her life to serving her family, neighbors and church community. She was quick to volunteer to help, or provide a meal to anyone in need. She enjoyed her Monday afternoons quilting with the “quilting ladies” at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Pam enjoyed cooking and baking and was known for not using a recipe. You put in a little of this and a little of that. She was an example of hard work, dedication and quiet strength to her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed.
Pam is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, John; her children Laura (Tom) Kelly Lovdahl, Gina (Harmon) Kelly-Wilts, Mike (Christine) Kelly and Maria Kelly. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Hannah (Luke) Sanders, Katherine (Simon) Johnson, Elizabeth (Alex) Love, John (Katie) Kelly, Mikayla Kelly, Connor Lovdahl, Andrew Lovdahl, and Evan Lovdahl and great-grandchildren, Anna Johnson and Gabriel Sanders.
She is preceded in death by infant sons, Joseph, Peter, Paul and William; twin great-grandsons, Joseph and Samuel Sanders, parents Ben and Bertha Iverson, brothers Herbert “Bud” Erickson, Russell Iverson and Ronald Iverson; sisters Alphie “Joey” Cain; Ethelwynn “Wyn” Mathiason, and Rosemary Honey.
