Pamela Gale Schafer died on Thursday morning, May 29, 2025, at her home in De Graff, Minnesota. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at St. Bridget’s Catholic Church in De Graff, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am. Burial will follow the funeral mass at the St. Bridget’s Cemetery, De Graff, Minnesota. Zniewski Funeral Home of Benson is assisting the family with the arrangements.
Pamela Gale Schafer was born on November 1, 1955, in Aberdeen, South Dakota, the daughter of Reinhardt and Ellenor Ginsler Gulke. She was baptized in Aberdeen, South Dakota and she was confirmed in Swift Falls, Minnesota. She Graduated from Kerkhoven High School in 1973.
On November 16, 1974, Pamela was united in marriage to Jerome Allen Schafer at the St. Bridget’s Catholic Church in De Graff, Minnesota. After marriage they lived on the farm near De Graff. She was a homemaker and worked various jobs such as at the nursing home in Kerkhoven and at DeToy’s in Benson. She was a member of the St. Bridget’s Catholic Church, Home Maker’s club, and Fastrack Club. She enjoyed riding Motorcycle, diamond art, fishing, flowers, dancing, and gardening. She loved spending time with her family and was very good at spoiling the grandchildren. She was called from this life on Thursday Morning, May 29, at her home in De Graff. She attained the age of 69 years, 6 months and 28 days.
She is survived by her husband Jerry of De Graff; her children, Michelle (Bill) Sininger of Avon, Tabatha Stoll of Morris, Joseph (Kristina) Schafer of Harrold, South Dakota, Lori (Sean) Roemen of Benson, and Michael (Shayla) Schafer of Benson; 21 grandchildren; one great grandchild; and her brother Bill Gulke of Kerkhoven. She is preceded in death by her parents Reinhardt and Ellenor, and her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Cliff and Doris Schafer. Blessed be her memory.
