Philip James Jensen passed away February 10, 2021, in the St. Cloud Hospital. Due to Co-Vid 19 there are no services planned at this time. He has moved to heaven where he is free from physical limitations, pain and disabilities! Philip’s health was compromised at the age of seven when he endured a very high fever leaving him both legally blind and legally deaf. He attended Faribault School for the Deaf for ten years and graduated with an eighth grade education. In spite of his disability, he worked on the family farm…then moved to Sioux Falls, SD where he lived independently until the last stretch of his life. He was a wonderful man with a passion for telling others about his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He was a self-appointed missionary as he spent most of his time and money passing out tracts, explaining the Salvation message, to the Sioux Falls community. He has been in the Bethesda Nursing Home in Wilmar, MN where he has received excellent care. He loved his family deeply, and had a very difficult year as he was not able to have visitors. He was loved by many and was an example of what can be accomplished with determination, passion and a strong faith. We will miss our “Uncle Philip”.
