Rosemary Lou Stock, age 83, of the Correll area died Wednesday evening, March 25, 2020 at Scandi Haven Village Memory Care in Benson. A private interment will be held in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Odessa.
Rosemary Lou Stock was born November 26, 1936, at home, in Roberts County, South Dakota, the daughter of Henry and Irene (Ulrich) Steltz. She was raised in the Milbank, South Dakota and Odessa, Minnesota areas. Rosemary attended country school through the seventh grade and then attend Odessa High School, where she graduated, Class of 1954. Rosemary worked as a Home Health Aide in Appleton for many years. She loved animals and working on the farm. Rosemary also enjoyed gardening and just being outdoors.
Rosemary is survived by her children: Gary Hanson, Doreen Hanson, and Ellen (Greg) Arnold, all of Appleton; 6 grandchildren: Courtney Hanson, Jeremy Hanson, Carissa Hanson, Cody Smith, Lee Arnold, and Shelby Arnold; 8 great-grandchildren; sisters: Laura Mae (Eddie) Roeder of Ortonville, Ella Thompson of Louisburg, and Charlene (Matt) Karels of Ortonville; many special nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husbands: Orton Hanson and Jerry Stock; her parents, Henry Steltz and Irene Greenfield; her brothers: James, Edward, and Henry Jr. Steltz.
