Ryan Lee Anderson

Ryan Lee Anderson, 45, of Mayer, Minnesota, formerly of Benson, died on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at Abbot Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Visitation will be held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Monday, June 13, 2022, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Benson, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment will be in the Benson City Cemetery.

Ryan Lee Anderson was born on April 2, 1977, in Benson, Minnesota, the son of Virgil and Julie Anderson. He was baptized and confirmed at Trinity Lutheran Church in Benson. He grew up in Benson and graduated from Benson High School in 1996. He attended Moorhead Technical college and graduated with a degree in Electrical Technology.

On August 22, 2009, Ryan was united in marriage to Molly Leuthner at the Minnesota Valley Reformed Baptist Church in Chaska, Minnesota by Pastor Harold Chase. They made their home in Waconia then moved to Mayer, Minnesota in 2010. He worked as an electrician for Berd Electrical out of St. Cloud, Minnesota. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, yardwork, grilling and cooking, football especially the Minnesota Viking, and watching movies and T.V. On the day after Thanksgiving Ryan loved spending time with his family watching  Emett Otter’s Jug Band Christmas and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer. He was called from this life on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the Abbot Northwestern Hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He attained the age of 45 years, 2 months, and 3 days.

Ryan is survived by his wife: Molly of Mayer, his son: Reece, his parents: Virgil and Julie Anderson of Benson: his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Roger and Marge Leuthner of Victoria: his sister Jodi (John) Jenson, a half-brother Dana Pomerleau: Nine brothers/sisters-in law: 24 nieces and nephews, and several other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, and a brother Jeffrey Anderson. Blessed be his memory.
