Shawna Larson, 44, formerly of DeGraff, died on August 4, 2020 at her home in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. A visitation will be held Monday, August 10, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the St. Pauli Cemetery rural Swift Falls, followed by a graveside service at 2:00 pm.


Shawna M. Larson was born on October 15, 1975, in Oceanside, California, the daughter of Lynn and Shellie (Knutson) Larson. She grew up in De Graff, Minnesota and graduated from Benson Senior High School. She was united in marriage on July 29, 1995. This union was blessed with three children.

She worked as an accountant for Tacora Mining in Grand Rapids. She enjoyed gardening, flowers and crafts. She loved spending time with her children and her grandchildren. She was called from this life on August 4, 2020 at her home in Grand Rapids.

She is survived by her children Jenna (Ethan Iiams) of Kandiyohi, Jillian (Karter) Van Heuveln of Murdock, and Luke Hoefer of DeGraff, her grandchildren Lela Iiams and Everett Van Heuveln, her parents Lynn and Shellie Larson of DeGraff, her grandmothers Gloria Knutson of Swift Falls, and Laura Larson of Kerkhoven; her brother Christopher (Laura) Larson of Swift Falls, her nephews Blake and Lane, a niece Claire, and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers Gerald Knutson and Don Larson, and her uncles Loren Larson and Danny Knutson. Blessed be her memory.
