Tim Ziegler, 63, of Benson, Minnesota went to be with the Lord Friday, August 27, 2021. Tim will always be remembered for his passion of muscle cars and his love for Mopar performance parts. A funeral mass will be held at St. Francis Catholic Church in Benson at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. A Graveside service will be held on October 9, 2021 at St. Mary's Catholic Church Cemetery in Neillsville, Wisconsin at 1:00 pm
Tim’s kindness for animals was well known by all. Tim had a special place in his heart for his dog, Keena. They had many wonderful years being each other’s companion. Keena enjoyed long walks in the country with Tim and the time they spent together. Tim graduated from Dunwoody College of Technology - Minneapolis, Minnesota. Tim combined his education from Dunwoody and his passion for cars throughout his entire life.Tim retired from Case New Holland (formally Tyler Industries), where he was employed for many years as a diesel mechanic and welder.
Tim was a member of Saint Francis Catholic Church, Benson, where he attended church faithfully. He was a humanitarian who helped the less fortunate and supported St. Jude research hospital. He was also an activist for equality for all and supported diverse cultures and backgrounds. He was a devoted caregiver to his mother until he passed. Tim is survived by his mother Lois Zielger; two brothers: Daniel (Cynthia) Ziegler, Robert (Debra) Ziegler and sister-in-law Margaret O’Neill-Ziegler; nieces and nephews: Renee (Jim) Conway, Michele (Mike) Santangelo, Eric (Melissa) Ziegler, Stacy (Patrick) Williams, Sarah Ziegler, Joshua (Alisha) Ziegler, Adam (Valerie) Ziegler and Alexandra (Derek) Aldridge; great nieces and nephews: Colleen, Kelly, David, Stephanie, Lauren, Madison, McKenna, Mason (Brooke), Andrew, Ellie, Kendall and Austin; great-great nieces and nephews: Isabelle, Cameron, Owen, Logan, Clara, Brantley, Theodore, Oliver and Miles.
Preceding his death were his father Harold Ziegler; sister Sheryl Ann (infancy); sister-in-law Arlene Ziegler; and brother Terence Ziegler. Blessed be his memory.
