Wayne Arthur Hagen

Wayne Arthur Hagen was born April 25, 1971 in Willmar, Minnesota, the son of Thomas Michael and Dorothy LoAnn (Bridgland) Hagen. He was baptized June 6, 1971 by Pastor Meichsner and confirmed May 4, 1986 by Pastor L.D. Kruse at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Benson. He grew up in Benson and graduated from Benson Elementary and High School. On May 6, 2000, Wayne was united in marriage to Krista Lee Ahl at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. This union was blessed with more than 19 years of marriage and their son, Noah.

Wayne worked at CNH in Benson for almost 30 years. Among the many things he enjoyed were hunting, fishing, baseball, golf, spending time with friends and family, and watching and cheering for the Twins, Vikings and Minnesota Wild.

Wayne passed away March 15, 2020 in St. Cloud Hospital. He attained the age of 48 years, 10 months and 20 days. He is survived by his wife, Krista Hagen; son, Noah Hagen; parents, Tom and LoAnn Hagen, all of Benson; sister, Wanda (Jason) Huettl of Clara City; niece and nephew Tracy and Tyler; parents-in-law, Richard and Jan Ahl of Litchfield; brother-in-law, Scott (Connie) Ahl of Litchfield; nephews and nieces: Nicholas, Sara, and Matthew, and Jason, Justine, and Abby; Granddad, Darwin Bridgland; and many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Albert and Myrtle Hagen and Lucy Bridgland. Blessed be the memory of Wayne Arthur Hagen.
